Members of the Supervisory Board shall hold office for a maximum period of four years and shall be eligible for re-appointment, provided that no member shall hold office for more than three four-year terms or twelve years, as the case may be. Members of the Supervisory Board shall resign immediately after the annual general meeting of shareholders in the year of their resignation. Mr Wiechers is reappointed for a period of one year in 2011 after having completed three four-year terms as a member of the Board. This temporary exception to the rule has been explained in the annual general meeting.
